Not enough time (but that can be good)

Like many working people in Chicago, I'm allotted too few hours in the day. Between Chicago Artist Month starting tomorrow, teaching and tutoring, and making my own work, there's seemingly no time left to spend with my wife let alone anyone or anything else.
Though I remember just 6 years ago I had too much time on my hands. I had finished school and was sending out applications to colleges while making work in my parent's basement. What I thought would be a brief time of transition turned into nearly a year of working, waiting, and wishing.
What's the point of remembering this? There isn't one, not really. Except that it shows just how clouded the past is. Just like the worlds I create in my images, time is dependent on the context it's in.
