Have to move

As much as working in a bedroom was challenging, it was at least a kind of "studio." My wife and I are now moving to an apartment in which I will have to commandeer a working space in the dining room. I did this before in our previous apartment and had trouble working since the cats were always there to bother me. Oh well. The apartment itself is beautiful and near the lake. And anyway, I might be able to get a separate studio in the next couple of months if I save my money. But maybe it will all work out working cheaply in the dining room. The downside, nonetheless, is that my wife would never be able to have dinner parties. (sigh)

My Setup

New Painting SLOWLY Taking Form.

I have until 11/28 to finish this painting to enter it into the Thinkart group show.
I'm not very optimistic.

Thinkart show

I've been busy and have neglected to keep posting. I am going to be in a group show at the Thinkart Salon that is on Hubbard and Milwaukee in late November. I was going to have a few new paintings ready for it and now it looks as though I'll be lucky have just one done. I never realize how slow my art making process is until I have a deadline to meet.
