My Setup

New Painting SLOWLY Taking Form.

I have until 11/28 to finish this painting to enter it into the Thinkart group show.
I'm not very optimistic.

Thinkart show

I've been busy and have neglected to keep posting. I am going to be in a group show at the Thinkart Salon that is on Hubbard and Milwaukee in late November. I was going to have a few new paintings ready for it and now it looks as though I'll be lucky have just one done. I never realize how slow my art making process is until I have a deadline to meet.

I spent the entire day tediously scanning new photos onto the hard drive. And I'll be scanning some more of them tomorrow and editing them too. Thank goodness I'll be able to assemble some new compositions out of this boredom.

It's finished! (the drawing part anyways)

I am finally done with this thing! Now I just have to get it to it's new owner after I take the painter's tape off.

Tai chi in the park

This is the current state of my most recent commission. It has taken me two more months to get to this point than I had expected. Its source image comes from a tai chi session in Millennium Park in August.
